Website accessibility has become a hot-button issue for businesses that provide goods and services via the web. This training gives a broad overview of website accessibility laws and regulations including: ADA Title III, Section 508, and the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).

Techniques for Publishing Accessible Power Point Presentations

PowerPoint presentations that are distributed in electronic format can pose major barriers to assistive technology users (including people with disabilities). This training will cover techniques to make PowerPoint presentations fully accessible to assistive technology users, and to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines.

Techniques for Publishing Accessible Word Documents

MS Word is an excellent program for publishing accessible documents. This training will cover techniques to make Word documents fully accessible to assistive technology users, and ensure compliance with ADA Title III, Section 508 and the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 AA).

Techniques for Publishing Accessible Content on the Web

This training covers techniques for publishing accessible Web content using popular open-source content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress, and Joomla. Participants will learn to create Web content that is WCAG 2.0 AA and ADA Title III compliant.
